Stretch Wrap

High-performance stretch film for securing pallet loads. Our stretch wrap is available in machine-grade and hand-grade rolls, clear and tinted options, and various gauges for light to heavy-duty applications. Properly applied stretch wrap unitizes the load, prevents pilferage, and protects against weather.

Best For

All pallet loads, retail distribution, weather protection, tamper evidence

Key Benefits

  • Machine-grade and hand-grade options
  • Clear, black, and colored varieties
  • Gauges from 60 to 120 for any load weight

Corner Boards

L-shaped edge protectors made from compressed paperboard, plastic, or foam. Corner boards reinforce pallet load corners to prevent strap damage, improve stack strength, and protect product edges from impact during handling and transit.

Machine Wrap Width20" or 30"
Gauge Options60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 120
Roll Length1,000 - 5,000 ft per roll
Film TypesCast, blown, pre-stretched
ColorsClear, black, blue, green, red
Case Quantity4 rolls/case (hand), 1 roll (machine)

Usage tip: Apply 2-3 wraps at the base, spiral up with 50% overlap, then add 2-3 wraps at the top. Pre-stretched film reduces material usage by 30% while maintaining equivalent load containment.

Corner Board Guide

Available in L-angle sizes from 2x2 to 4x4 inches, lengths from 24 to 96 inches. Paperboard corner boards (150-300 lb test) handle most standard loads. Plastic corner boards are recommended for moisture-exposure or reusable applications.

Pro tip: Use corner boards whenever applying strapping. They prevent strap crush on corners and increase vertical stacking strength by up to 40%.

Anti-Slip Pad Guide

Our anti-slip pads come in two primary materials: rubberized paper (disposable, friction coefficient 0.7+) and textured rubber (reusable, friction coefficient 0.9+). Standard sheet size is 40x48 inches. Custom die-cuts available for non-standard pallets or specific product footprints.

Pro tip: Place anti-slip pads between every layer for multi-tier loads. A single pad between pallet and load reduces shifting by up to 80%.

RFID Tag Guide

Passive UHF tags (read range: 15-30 feet) are ideal for warehouse inventory and dock-door tracking. Active GPS tags provide real-time location tracking during transit with battery life of 3-5 years. All tags are compatible with major WMS platforms including SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, and Blue Yonder.

Pro tip: Start with passive UHF tags for warehouse automation. Upgrade to active GPS only for high-value or theft-sensitive shipments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you sell accessories separately or only with pallets?

We sell all accessories both standalone and bundled with pallet orders. You are welcome to purchase stretch wrap, corner boards, or any other accessory without a pallet order.

What is the minimum order quantity for accessories?

Most accessories have low minimums. Stretch wrap and corner boards are sold by the case. Pallet collars are available in quantities as low as 10. RFID tags have a minimum order of 50 units. Contact us for specific MOQ details.

Can you deliver accessories with my pallet order?

Absolutely. We consolidate pallet and accessory shipments on the same truck to save you time and freight cost. Just mention your accessory needs when placing your pallet order.

Do you offer custom-sized covers and collars?

Yes. We can source or manufacture pallet covers and collars in non-standard dimensions. Custom sizes typically have slightly longer lead times and higher minimums than stock items.

What gauge stretch wrap should I use for my loads?

For light loads under 1,000 lbs, 60-70 gauge is sufficient. Standard loads of 1,000-2,500 lbs typically use 80 gauge. Heavy or sharp-edged loads benefit from 100-120 gauge. Pre-stretched film at 60 gauge provides equivalent containment to standard 80 gauge while using 30% less material. We can recommend the optimal gauge based on your specific load profile.

How do I calculate how much stretch wrap I need?

A rough rule of thumb: one 18-inch, 1,500-foot roll of 80-gauge hand wrap covers approximately 25-30 standard pallet loads. For machine wrap, a 20-inch, 5,000-foot roll covers approximately 80-100 loads. We can provide a more precise calculation based on your load dimensions and wrap pattern. Contact us for a free stretch wrap usage assessment.

Are your pallet covers rated for outdoor storage?

Yes. Our polyethylene covers are waterproof and available with UV stabilizers for extended outdoor storage. Standard covers protect against rain and dust for up to 6 months. Our heavy-duty UV-rated covers are designed for 12+ months of outdoor exposure in New Mexico's intense sun. Insulated covers are also available for temperature-sensitive goods stored outdoors.

Quick Reference

Installation Guides

Proper installation ensures maximum protection and longevity. Here is a quick-start guide for each accessory type.

Pallet Collar Installation

  1. 1Place collar on pallet deck with hinges facing outward
  2. 2Align corner hinges with pallet corners for flush fit
  3. 3Fold side panels up and lock hinges into upright position
  4. 4Stack additional collars by alternating hinge orientation
  5. 5Top with plywood lid for enclosed, stackable container

Stretch Wrap Application

  1. 1Anchor film to pallet base with 2-3 tight wraps at bottom
  2. 2Spiral upward with 50% overlap between passes
  3. 3Maintain consistent tension -- do not over-stretch or leave slack
  4. 4Apply 2-3 wraps at top to lock film and prevent unraveling
  5. 5Tuck or tear end -- do not tie knots that create pressure points

Corner Board Placement

  1. 1Position L-angle boards on all four vertical corners of load
  2. 2Extend boards from top to bottom of load for full protection
  3. 3Apply strapping over corner boards -- not under them
  4. 4For tall loads, use full-length boards rather than overlapping short ones
  5. 5Secure with tape or adhesive if strapping is not used

Anti-Slip Pad Application

  1. 1Clean pallet deck surface of debris and moisture before placement
  2. 2Center pad on pallet deck, ensuring full contact with load area
  3. 3For multi-layer loads, place a pad between each tier
  4. 4Rubberized side faces the load, smooth side faces the pallet
  5. 5Replace pads when friction surface shows visible wear or glazing

Pallet Cover Application

  1. 1Center cover over top of wrapped or unwrapped load
  2. 2Drape sides evenly to ensure equal coverage on all four sides
  3. 3For insulated covers, ensure all seams face outward
  4. 4Secure base of cover with stretch wrap band or elastic cord
  5. 5For outdoor storage, check for pooling water on top after rain

RFID Tag Mounting

  1. 1Choose tag location visible to warehouse readers -- usually upper stringer face
  2. 2For screw-mount tags, pre-drill pilot hole to prevent wood splitting
  3. 3For adhesive tags, clean surface with alcohol wipe before application
  4. 4Position tags consistently on same pallet location for automated reads
  5. 5Test read range with your scanner before deploying fleet-wide
