From Concept to Delivery

Our Design & Build Process

Every custom pallet starts with understanding your needs. Here is how we take your requirements from initial conversation to finished product.

01

Needs Assessment

We start by understanding what you are shipping, how heavy it is, where it is going, and how it will be handled. This determines every design decision that follows.

02

Design & Engineering

Our team designs the pallet to meet your load requirements, dimensional constraints, and handling specifications. We factor in stacking, forklift access, and any special considerations.

03

Material Selection

We choose the right lumber species, thickness, and treatment for your application. Options include hardwood, softwood, heat-treated, and sustainably sourced recycled lumber.

04

Prototype & Approval

For new designs, we build a prototype for your review. Test it with your products, verify the fit, and approve before we move into production.

05

Production Run

Once approved, we manufacture your pallets with precision jigs and templates that ensure every unit is identical. Quality checks run throughout the process.

06

Delivery & Support

Finished pallets are delivered on your schedule. We maintain your design files for easy reorders and can adjust specifications as your needs evolve.

What We Build

Manufacturing Capabilities

Our facility is equipped to handle everything from simple size modifications to complex engineered packaging solutions. If it involves wood and shipping, we can build it.

Custom-Size Pallets

Any dimension, any configuration. Two-way, four-way, block, stringer, wing, or flush -- we build to your exact specifications with no minimum order.

Heavy-Duty Pallets

Reinforced construction for loads exceeding standard weight limits. Double-thickness stringers, closer board spacing, and hardwood construction for maximum capacity.

Export Crates & Skids

Expert Guidance

Design Consultation Process

Many customers come to us knowing they need a custom pallet but unsure about the exact specifications. That is where our design consultation adds real value. Our team has decades of combined experience in pallet engineering and can help you determine the optimal dimensions, board spacing, lumber species, and construction method for your specific application.

We start by understanding your product -- its weight, dimensions, fragility, and how it will be handled throughout the supply chain. We consider whether it will be racked in a warehouse, stacked in a container, or loaded with a forklift, pallet jack, or crane. Each handling method places different stresses on the pallet and influences the design.

For complex projects, we can visit your facility to observe how pallets are used in your operation. This on-site assessment often reveals optimization opportunities that save material costs and improve pallet performance. The consultation is free and carries no obligation.

What Affects Custom Pricing

Custom pallet pricing is determined by several factors, and we provide transparent quotes with no hidden fees. Here is what goes into the calculation:

  • Pallet dimensions -- larger pallets require more material and labor
  • Lumber species -- hardwood costs more than softwood, recycled is most economical
  • Board thickness and spacing -- heavier loads need thicker boards placed closer together
  • Heat treatment -- ISPM-15 certification adds a treatment step and associated cost
  • Order volume -- per-unit cost decreases significantly at higher quantities
  • Design complexity -- multi-way entry, custom notching, and special features add time
  • Turnaround speed -- rush production carries an expedited fee

Custom Manufacturing FAQ

Is there a minimum order quantity for custom pallets?
No. We build single prototypes and full production runs of thousands. There is no minimum order requirement. However, per-unit pricing is most favorable for orders of 50 or more, as setup costs are amortized across the run.
Can you match a pallet design from another supplier?
Yes. Send us a sample, a photo, or a drawing with dimensions and we will replicate it. If you have a pallet from another supplier that works well but you need a local source, we can reverse-engineer it and produce identical units.
Do you handle ISPM-15 certification and stamping?
Absolutely. We are a certified heat treatment facility. All export pallets are treated to ISPM-15 standards, stamped with the required certification mark, and accompanied by documentation for customs clearance. We handle the entire compliance process.
How do I reorder the same custom pallet in the future?
We maintain digital design files for every custom project. When you need a reorder, simply call or email with your quantity. We pull up your existing design, confirm specifications, and begin production immediately -- no redesign, no new consultation, and faster turnaround.
Can you build pallets from materials I supply?
In most cases, yes. If you have a specific lumber source or material requirement, we can work with your supplied materials. We will assess the material for suitability and provide guidance on any limitations. We do require that all materials meet our safety and quality standards.
